The Role
Are you looking to kick-start your career in public and corporate affairs? We’re currently offering multiple 6-month internship positions in our UK office, starting ASAP!
This is a great opportunity to develop your skills while working with some of the top consultants in the industry. Internships are available across our Corporate Affairs, Healthcare and Life Sciences, and Public Affairs & Policy teams.
As part of the internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience working on a wide range of client projects, both UK-based and global. You'll work as part of a close-knit team, allowing you to build strong working relationships, develop specialised knowledge, and learn directly from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring political, parliamentary and business news to identify developments relevant to clients or new business briefs.
- Conducting research and analysis to support campaigns.
- Supporting account teams to map relevant stakeholders, draft press and briefing materials and building distribution lists.
- Working with account teams to draft communications content.
- Contributing to social media content development.
- Helping to organise events: parliamentary launches, press conferences or large-scale workshops etc.
- Undertaking research for new business and participating in the development of proposals.
- Demonstrate basic proficiency with AI tools.
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Have a strong interest in current affairs.
- Have a good feel for communications work, preferably with some experience in external communications, for example social media for a charity or university group, writing for a newspaper or blog, or speaking to community members as part of a project etc.
- Can analyse information and provide concise insight to tight deadlines with accuracy and relevance.
- Are logical, quick, and flexible in the appraisal of problems.
- Can present findings and insight clearly and accurately to a range of audiences.
- Are proficient in the use of digital tools and platforms including databases, internet research, and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience of PR research, working or interning at an agency/press office, managing professional social media channels or relevant experience would be an advantage.
- A professional interest in healthcare, philanthropy, crisis and reputation management, campaigning, digital, financial and professional services or sport is advantageous.
